Ella had a little growthspurt and grew almost two inches and a pound in a week! Wow!
Grandma and Grandpa are here from Sweden and Ella is loving the attention! Four people to cuddle with her (including mommy and daddy of course)!
We went to Oahu for two days because Ella had a doctor's appointment over there to check on her little foot to make sure it grows right. It got stuck in an awkward position in utero and was a bit bent when she came out. But it will be just fine!
We strolled around Waikiki, went shopping at the big Ala Moana shopping center, drove around the island and saw the famed North Shore, with Sunset, Waimea, Pipeline and so on. And we also got to see Valley of the Temples that I had really wanted to see for a long time. Amazing! Beautiful! And if anyone happens to go to Honolulu, don't eat at Hawaiian BBQ, it was not that good, to put it mildly. We do recommend Cholo's in Haleiwa though, but light on the jalapenos! Daddy couldn't come because he had to work, but we sure missed him dearly!
We drove up to Polipoli and Grandma nearly had a heart attack behind the wheel.. the road was baaaad! But we made it in one piece! A little hike down to the redwoods and then a bbq. The throw-away bbq sucked by the way! But patience is a virtue and we eventually got our hot dogs!

Så härligt ni ser ut att ha det! Pappa ser ut att vara en bra nanny, eller manny kanske det ska vara? Jag har precis kommit på den perfekta presenten till Ella, hon kommer bli så glad. Längtar efter er alla tre!
Äntligen! Som hon har vuxit! Fast jag tycker nog hon ser lite otäck ut på mittenbilden... Mera, mera! Lägg upp några till! En stor puss på Ella från oss alla och en extra från Astrid.

Great to see the grandparents with their newest edition 2010.....Hope the rest of the visit is wonderful and that the BBQ's are more successful.....Was that a Johnny BBQ with the disposable grill up at Polipoli???? If so....there will be a huge point reduction! Glad to hear that Ella's foot will be OK!
