The whales are abundant in numbers at the moment and we were lucky to go on a great boat trip to see them a little closer. There were mommy whales, baby whales and potential-daddy whales all over the place! They swim all the way down here from Alaska to have their babies in the relatively shallow waters around our islands. They stay until the babies are strong enough and then they swim all the way back. But it looks like they're having a jolly good time while they're here!
