By the way...

...that top picture in the last post is a WILD PIG! And here are the rain clouds I was talking about..

Hike to the Kaanapali Coffee Farms on a Monday Afternoon in January

A beautiful day for a hike! Neither of us had ever been there before and yet it is only ten minutes away from our house... Those clouds turned into heavy rain later..but by then we were safe back at our house!

Maestro is at it again

Yet another shitty day in paradise... Some skimming at Paia Bay.

Mandala

So one day Kel said that he wanted to go to the MALL! I was shocked to say the least! But he didn't want to go shopping.. Some Buddhist monks from Tibet had created this mandala out of sand. When we got there they had just finished. This picture doesn't really do justice to their creation, but it was unbelievable. The following day they would blow it away to symbolize how transitory life is. We are happy to have seen it! Om-Mani-Padme-Hum!

Winter in Hawaii!

We almost forgot that we have seasons too.. But Kel enjoyed it! But it made me rather homesick. I got my fourth ear infection in less than a year, which kept me out of the water. Not that it looked THAT tempting anyway. We miss you all!

Hiking the Swinging Bridges on Christmas Eve

This is one of my favorite places on Maui! The water is refreshingly chilly if you opt for a dip at the end, which we did. Nothing like an outdoor swim on Christmas!

Our first Grown-up Christmas

Our wonderful Christmas ornaments. Good thing that Macy's had a sale BEFORE Christmas!!

Couple's yoga

The couple who flies together stays together...

Aha! Finally! Here are a few samples of the past weeks extravaganza! Matching jumpsuits in Honolulu, Kel walking on water, me chasing the skimboard and Dannie and me at the end of the Swinging Bridges Trail.

Happy New 2009! Haoli Makahiki Hou!

Happy New Year to all! We just said adieu to our first houseguest, Miss Daniella Andersson! Despite massive car troubles that ended in despair more than once, we had a really good time! Christmas was awesome with fabulous pressies, apparently we had all been really good last year! Maestro Kel and Dannie got plenty of fun times in while I was dutifully at work. But we lived it up when I was off! Me and sis went to Honolulu for a day's serious shopping which we pulled off marvelously! No piccies this time due "to an internal error" according to this site...!! Much love!
