Hana in very few pictures

We finally went camping again, just the three of us. But, unfortunately, all batteries in all cameras died simultaneously.. It was a beautiful weekend. Hana was as glorious as always, the tourist as annoying. In what state does yield mean stop? They were all from there anyhow. But once the tent was pitched and the chicken kebabs on the bbq, we quickly forgot all about the loooooong drive. A rainbow appeared and seemed to end just off the shore. The night fell and we had a cosy story time in the tent. Ella had a hard time finding a comfortable spot to sleep, so she was all over the place, making it hard for the rest of us to sleep. Mommy's ear was hurting from yet another ear infection, so no swimming for her. After breakfast, we hiked to the seven sacred pools, where the water looked very inviting. But only Daddy jumped in. After packing up like pros, with Ellie napping in the shade, we headed to Hamoa for some beach time. No for those of you who haven't been lucky enough to visit Hamoa, let me tell you, it is the most amazing beach! The sand is black/grey and the water a crystal clear turqoise. Daddy hit the waves while us girls played in the shorebreak. The hours went by and soon we had to start the long journey back to reality, if reluctantly.
