A Day of Firsts!

Ella has done the following for the first time today;

Rolled over (while we were watching, we've never got to actually witness it before)
Held her own bottle at the right angle to actually get to its contents and tilting it accordingly when needed
Waved at her Daddy
Sat up without any support!
Unfortunately, you'd have to take our word for the rolling over and the waving, but the other two we have pictures to prove!
Daddy also wanted the editor to put a skimboarding shot here, and voila! A great one too, on his new board he got from Santa at Exile...
It was a rainy Monday and a sunny Tuesday and we went to Baldwin Beach both days. Ella also got to meet her new friend, Walther Raymond, about a week old. Hard to believe that Ella was once that small! She looked like a giant next to him!
And thank you Auntie Dannie for the awesome tank top! Life is Fake, Wrestling is Real! We love it!!

Kellyfornia!!

Right before Christmas, our little fam-bam went to Cali to meet up with the big fam-bam! Oh boy! The first few days we spent strolling around and on the beach. Daddy managed to trade in his old skim board for a new one, all because the Exile peope had heard of him...
The came some Swedish reinforcements yaya! We all met up at Disneyland, on a very rainy Friday morning. The place was still packed, but we had a great time! Ella got to go on two rides, but when we made it to Winnie the Pooh, she had fallen asleep, snug as a bug in her winter-outfitted Bumbleride! The big girls went on almost everything! But even the SPace Mountain wasn't enough to get Idun scared. Auntie Jenna and the boys joined us in the afternoon and then Liam and Nate got to meet their littlest cousin for the first time too!
We had a great party over at the Sand Trap, Rich and Nancy's house. Almost everyone swam in the warm pool. We had so much fun that we came back the next day!
We took a little trip down to Dana Point and the Marine Institute, which I am sure is great fun when the sun comes out. We had a great time anyway!
Mommy made her driving debut on the freeway! Also did a cool cop turn! (A u-turn that makes your tires whistle, duh)
The crazy Sofia and Klara took a somewhat accidental dip in the Pacific and their Dad got a little wet too..

Merry Christmas from Ella!

The Best Christmas present ever has to be Ella! She's the gift that keeps on giving!
We had a grand time in California and pictures will follow!

Bathing Beauty!

The beach was so much fun that we went back today! Ella got a bathing suit and doesn't have to pull a Donald Duck anymore. A lady at Mommy's work is crazy about Ella and got it for her. It goes very well with her little rashie too!
The solids are getting more popular and Ella is a real champ already! She sits in her Bumbo chair while Mom feeds her and she even got to try her own spoon too.

She grows fast and as you can see, there's hardly any more room in her bed...

Beach day @ Makena!

What a day! We finally had a day with no prior plans and decided to go down south to Makena. As the seasoned traveller Ella is, she has of course been here before.. This time we had her new beach shade and that thing is the best money we spent lately!
Daddy gave our little darling a bottle while Mommy erected the beach shade. Then the girls went for a swim! Ella wasn't quite sure if she liked it or not, but she liked it much better afterwards, playing in the shade under the beach towels! Daddy started his training for the upcoming trip to Laguna and we watched him do a bunch of cool stuff on the skimboard!
We also saw some whales, the first we've seen for the season. They never cease to amaze us! The fun day went quickly by and before we knew it, the sun was setting again! Ella got some playtime with Daddy while Mom packed it all up. A great day!

Weekend fun!

Ella is having so much fun in her gym! She can ALMOST roll over, but not quite.
The waves were good on Monday so Dad got to surf Little Maks while us girls watched. Ella took a little nap with Bruno while Mom looked on. Then we headed to Launiopoko! We finally got the beach shade we wanted and it makes for extra fun in the sun! Works our great for changing diapers too!
Ella seemed to like Daddy's hat a lot and the feeling was mutual..
The next day we went over to Ho'okipa again, but it was too windy for real surfing.. only the windwankers out there haha! So we went over to see Chris no 1 and Kathy instead. Ella got to try out their brand new couch and from the looks of it, she approves!

My new gym!

Ella loved Walther's gym so much that we had to get one for her and she is stoked! It makes noise too, baby activated to keep her moving!
