Braving the Stormy Weather!

I am now allowed to go in the water again, hooray! The new Longboard, called McZephyr (after my first longboard that I loved and lost years ago) is really something. With some imagination and sharp eyes you can probably spot me out there. Kel got decapitated by the photographer (not me this time).

Good Times!

Our dear friends Chris and Kathy had just returned from Japan with some awesome helmets! Manolo, Jane, Aina Sofia and Mahealani had just returned from the Czech Republic. And we had just come all the way from the other side of the island. Good times indeed! The didgeridoo came out, but the rate of success was somewhat questionable...

The Sun is Back!

After weeks of rain we finally got some sunshine on our days off! I'm positive you can guess who was more successful..

Hike to the Kaanapali Coffee Farms on a Monday Afternoon in January

A beautiful day for a hike! Neither of us had ever been there before and yet it is only ten minutes away from our house... Those clouds turned into heavy rain later..but by then we were safe back at our house!

Maestro is at it again

Yet another shitty day in paradise... Some skimming at Paia Bay.

Mandala

So one day Kel said that he wanted to go to the MALL! I was shocked to say the least! But he didn't want to go shopping.. Some Buddhist monks from Tibet had created this mandala out of sand. When we got there they had just finished. This picture doesn't really do justice to their creation, but it was unbelievable. The following day they would blow it away to symbolize how transitory life is. We are happy to have seen it! Om-Mani-Padme-Hum!
