Bathing Beauty!

The beach was so much fun that we went back today! Ella got a bathing suit and doesn't have to pull a Donald Duck anymore. A lady at Mommy's work is crazy about Ella and got it for her. It goes very well with her little rashie too!
The solids are getting more popular and Ella is a real champ already! She sits in her Bumbo chair while Mom feeds her and she even got to try her own spoon too.

She grows fast and as you can see, there's hardly any more room in her bed...

Beach day @ Makena!

What a day! We finally had a day with no prior plans and decided to go down south to Makena. As the seasoned traveller Ella is, she has of course been here before.. This time we had her new beach shade and that thing is the best money we spent lately!
Daddy gave our little darling a bottle while Mommy erected the beach shade. Then the girls went for a swim! Ella wasn't quite sure if she liked it or not, but she liked it much better afterwards, playing in the shade under the beach towels! Daddy started his training for the upcoming trip to Laguna and we watched him do a bunch of cool stuff on the skimboard!
We also saw some whales, the first we've seen for the season. They never cease to amaze us! The fun day went quickly by and before we knew it, the sun was setting again! Ella got some playtime with Daddy while Mom packed it all up. A great day!

Weekend fun!

Ella is having so much fun in her gym! She can ALMOST roll over, but not quite.
The waves were good on Monday so Dad got to surf Little Maks while us girls watched. Ella took a little nap with Bruno while Mom looked on. Then we headed to Launiopoko! We finally got the beach shade we wanted and it makes for extra fun in the sun! Works our great for changing diapers too!
Ella seemed to like Daddy's hat a lot and the feeling was mutual..
The next day we went over to Ho'okipa again, but it was too windy for real surfing.. only the windwankers out there haha! So we went over to see Chris no 1 and Kathy instead. Ella got to try out their brand new couch and from the looks of it, she approves!

My new gym!

Ella loved Walther's gym so much that we had to get one for her and she is stoked! It makes noise too, baby activated to keep her moving!

Bathtime!!

Ella loves her whale tub! And her friends, Buster and the little whale! Looking cute and snuggly afterwards in her towel hoodie she got from auntie Lynne at Mom's work!

Another visit to Giggle Hill!

Look how big I am, facing forward in the Baby Björn now! Not sure how much I liked the swing, but Mom and Dad had fun!

Halloween and other adventures

This was by far the calmest and most quiet halloween for us so far. None of the usual debauchery and the only one to dress up was Ella. Mommy had to work all night and responsible Daddy took his baby home early. She was adorable in her skeleton outfit though, the SkEllaton!
A few weeks ago we visited the pumpkin patch in Kula and Ella dressed up to pose with the pumpkins.
We had the annual pumpkin carving contest at work, but no word yet on what department won. I bet it was us!

By the way, on my first day back at work, I found out that I had won the quarterly Kupa'a awards! I suppose I had been nominated for my efforts in going green, I am still not sure, but very happy about it! My picture is now gracing the wall downstairs for everyone to see. I grew an inch right there!
Ella got a bouncer from Daddy's work, and she's loving it! Daddy is using it to teach her how to skimboard already!
