an uneventful, but nice, weekend

 Look what I can do! Stand up by myself!

A nice mellow-yellow weekend. Surf Launiupoko for Mom and Dad and chill on the grass for Ellie on Monday and a trip to Makena Tuesday. Ella might be half-fish! She swam and swam and swam! She's not scared of the waves either!

Hana Birthday Weekend!

Daddy wanted to go to Hana for his birthday, so we packed up the beetle and went. We forgot the mattress, so the night was looong and uncomfortable and left us quite puffy in the morning. Ella loves camping though and woke up at three am, ready to play!

We got rained on quite a bit, but it was still a beautiful weekend.

Happy 1st Birthday Ella!

Wow! One year! It went by so fast!! So much happened in that short year, from post partum depression, to the greatest joy, from Oahu, to Sweden, to Switzerland, to California and back! Ella had a great birthday! It started out with some beautiful singing by Mom and Dad, in their best morning voices and lots of presents to open! Then  we went to Launiupoko Beach Park for a little party for our darling girl. BBQ and cake and splashing in Ella's brand new kiddie pool! Lots of friends showed up with great presents and company. No nap there.. We had fun all day long and Ella practically passed out in the car on the way home.

A great BIG MAHALO, or THANK YOU if you will, for all the wonderful gifts! She has a new backpack carrier, a new car seat, shoes, blocks, clothes, books, toys and so much more! She is one lucky girl!
